Health Checks

Regular health checks are essential for maintaining the well-being of your pet. This helps to detect any underlying health issues early on and to maintain their overall health.

Monthly Injections

Dogs experiencing mobility issues may face challenges when it comes to getting to a veterinary clinic for monthly injections such as Librela for osteoarthritis, in such cases, Home Vetcare is a much easier option. We also offer a wide range of monthly injections such as Cytopoint for allergies or Zycortal for Addison’s disease.

Annual Vaccinations

Annual pet vaccinations at home offer convenience and peace of mind for owners, ensuring their pets stay up-to-date with essential immunizations without the stress of a veterinary visit.

Ultrasound Scanning

Performing an ultrasound scan for pets at home can offer a convenient and less stressful alternative to traditional veterinary clinic visits, particularly for pets who may be anxious or have mobility issues. We use a portable ultrasound machine which enables our Veterinarian to conduct a thorough abdominal ultrasound at your home.

End of Life Care

End of life care is always an emotional and sad time, for the whole family. The additional burden of having to take your sick pet out of their own environment and transport them to an unfamiliar and often stressful environment of a busy veterinary practice is never an ideal situation...

Pet Passports

We will make sure all your necessary documentation is up to date before we issue you a passport for your pet. A rabies vaccination is often required for travel a minimum of three weeks before departure. This can be administered to your pet if needed.

A senior pet check at home offers a compassionate and convenient way to monitor the health and well-being of aging pets. As pets grow older, they may experience age-related health issues that require regular attention and management. Home senior pet checks typically involve a thorough examination by a veterinarian, conducted in the comfort of the pet's familiar environment. During the check-up, the vet will assess various aspects of the pet's health, including mobility, weight, dental health, vision, and hearing. They may also check for signs of chronic conditions such as arthritis, kidney disease, or cognitive decline. Additionally, the vet may discuss nutrition, exercise, and any necessary changes to the pet's environment or routine to accommodate their evolving needs.
